Website builds

New sites and rebuilds for trade businesses. The aim is a site that loads fast on a phone, says what you do and where you do it within the first screen, and makes calling you the easiest thing on the page.

We write plain, durable markup rather than stacking on a framework. That is why these sites stay quick, and why changing one two years from now is not an ordeal.

Typical work

  • New sites for contractors, plumbers, and service trades
  • Rebuilds of dated sites that do not work properly on a phone
  • Individual service pages — the work you want to be found for
  • Service-area pages for the towns and counties you cover
  • Quote and callback forms wired straight to your inbox
  • Photo galleries of finished jobs, kept easy to add to
  • Licensing, insurance, and credentials presented where they count
  • Search-engine basics: clean URLs, titles, descriptions, sitemap

Hosting

Sites are hosted on a managed cPanel server. We handle the setup, the certificates, and the ongoing upkeep — you get a site that stays online without having to think about the machine underneath it, or take a call about it on a job site.

Included with hosting

  • Free SSL certificate, issued and renewed automatically
  • Regular backups, with restores handled on request
  • Business email accounts on your own domain
  • Domain and DNS management
  • Server-side software kept current and patched
  • Site moved onto our server for you, including from another host

Maintenance

A site left alone slowly stops working — plugins go stale, links rot, certificates lapse. Maintenance is the ongoing work that keeps that from happening, plus the everyday changes you need made.

In practice that usually means new job photos, a service you have started offering, or a town you have started covering. You send it, we put it up.

Ongoing care

  • New job photos and project write-ups added for you
  • Services, service areas, and hours kept current
  • Software, plugin, and framework updates
  • Broken links and failing forms fixed
  • Uptime watched, problems addressed before you notice them
  • Small feature additions as the business changes
  • Restoring the site if something goes wrong

Built around how customers actually find you

Someone with a burst pipe does not browse. They search, they skim one or two sites, and they call whichever one answers their question first.

Found

Pages named for the work people search — "water heater replacement," not "solutions." Clean URLs, real titles, and a sitemap so search engines can read the whole site.

Convinced

Your service area, your license number, and photographs of finished jobs. The three things a stranger checks before trusting you inside their house.

Contacted

A tappable phone number on every page and a short form that goes straight to your inbox. No portal, no account, no eleven fields.

How a project runs

  1. Conversation

You describe the business — the work you want more of, the area you cover, what you have now. We ask enough questions to understand the actual problem.

  2. Proposal

A written scope of what will be built or changed, so there is no ambiguity about what "done" means.

  3. Build

Work happens on a staging address you can look at from your phone. You give feedback while it is still cheap to change.

  4. Launch

The site goes live on our server with SSL and email configured, and old URLs redirected so nothing breaks.

  5. Ongoing

Hosting and maintenance continue from there. You send changes, we make them.

Not sure which part you need?

Describe the situation and we will tell you what it would actually take.
